Aside: Interview Answers

What it does

• Live transcriptTranscribes the conversation as it happens, from the meeting audio and your microphone.
• Answers from your own CVSuggested answers are written in the first person and grounded in your CV and the target role or job description.
• Your own answer bankOptionally save answers to questions you expect, and Aside can show your exact text when it hears a matching question.
• Prepare before the callGive Aside the target role and it drafts likely questions with answers grounded in your CV, so you can read and practise them in advance.
• Resume and cover letter draftsGenerate a tailored resume and cover letter from your CV and a job description.

How your data is handled

Aside uses Sign in with Apple, and its suggestions come from cloud AI services that run through Mantravali's own backend. The app itself holds no AI provider keys.

Speech is transcribed on your Mac with Apple Speech, or streamed to the AssemblyAI speech-to-text service during a session. Aside does not store the audio.

When you ask for an answer, the relevant transcript text and context from your CV are sent to Aside's servers to generate it. Your CV details, session history and generated documents are stored there until you delete them, and a local history is kept on your Mac.

Your CV and transcripts are not used to train AI models and are not shared with employers or recruiters.

Aside has paid plans, bought as subscriptions through the App Store. It is a preparation tool, so please use it in line with the rules of the interview you are taking part in.
